How to use gpose to take reference pictures
WE LOVE FFXIV!!
If you are a big fan of FFXIV, you have to know gpose fuction!
"Gpose" means group pose which is the built-in camera mode in FFXIV.
Now let's take a look at how to use gpose to make a standard reference picture for a commission! (easiest way)
We will appreciate if you could provide us a good reference picture.
(We might not have some armor/weapon. Some armor looks different on different gender or race neither XD)
Step 1.
-- Type "/gpose" in chat to enter the gpose camera mode.
-- Or you can drag the icon to your hotbar from [Actions & Traits pane→Extras], or even key-bind it yourself.)

Step 2.
Adjust the shooting angle. (Please provide the front screenshot of "front, back, left, right" of "full body")
-- keyboard: W、A、S、D
-- Gamepad: Left Stick, right stick

Step 3.
If the ambient light source is too dark, you will not be able to see the details of the characters, especially the dark colored clothing. It confuses the artist and spend more time searching for reference pictures.
Please open the gpose setting window:
-- keyboard: R / [Num *]
-- PS: □
-- ABXY pad: X
You can adjust the brightness from the circled area below:
(Shooting in daylight is the best!)

Step 4.
Take screenshots: please provide us with "Front, Back, Left, Right" of Full Body screenshots - a total of 4 pictures.
-- keyboard: Print screen
-- Play Station: Share button
-- ABXY pad: L1 + start
PC default picture storage path:
C:\Users\<you>\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\screenshots
Step 5.
Press the exit key to leave the gpose mode.
-- keyboard: ESC
-- PS:╳
-- ABXY pad: A
